Ubuntu was my 3rd Linux Distribution. For me it all began in 2002 with Linspire>Freespire>Ubuntu. In 2007 Freespire began being based on Ubuntu. Linspire had some short lived partnership with Canonical and in exchange tried to distribute CNR on Ubuntu and other Distros. When Xandros acquired Linspire and Freespire in 2008, I switched to Ubuntu since it was familiar. That kept me interested a few years.
